And I've got to say, love him or hate him when Cena picked that kid out of the crowd who was beating cancer, that was class.

It was a great promo, perhaps its the legitimacy of his opponent but I really enjoyed the segment.

Owens cut a great promo, Cena came back and cut another great promo. I just hope its not the cookie cutter Cena makes it one all at MITB.

A powerbomb on to the apron count out win for Owens would be nice.

The kid that Cena locked on to was made up, and deep down that's what its all about, making people feel something.

{Ed007's Note - I'll even admit that I thought Cena worked it well but I felt the bit with the kid was a bit cringey IF it was a work and the kid was placed there for it.}

I agree with ED I felt the kid was a placement for Cena to pick out, if it had been a random kid it would of been a nice promo but I feel it was a work.

{Ed007's Note - It was still a nice touch and the kid must have felt on top of the world but I'm always uncomfortable with sportsmen, and not just wrestlers, using sick kids to make themselves look better. I remember an old cliche or maybe it was a catchphrase from a TV show that was 'He does a lot of work for charity but doesn't like to talk about', so how do people know he does it?}

If it was set up then I take it all back, but I didn't think they'd go to that extremety just to get Cena over.
I thought the promo was very good for the main reason that it seemed almost personal, even Cena was getting close to the bone in some instances

I agree with Ed. It was great for the kid, however like he said it seems too much like the John Cena human shields again. Maybe that is the wrong way to look at it, but that is the way it comes across to me.

{Ed007's Note - Because he's got previous you've got to look at it with a bit of suspicion. Or maybe we're just a couple of bitter cynical twisted individuals who are so ingrained with our anti-Cena stance we can't see the good in anything he does. :=D Nah....I'm sticking with it being a work.....

I'd be disappointed if it was a work, but I try and suspend my belief as often as possible.

I seemed personal, but when you think about it it is personal.

Owens came out and criticised Cena for all the reasons an indie star would hate him.

Then Cena came out and fired back defending himself in a way you would if you had just been insulted that way.

It was class from both guys (and the Kid sold it well aswell ;P)

For me, charity is supposed to be something for nothing. But yet when WWE does it, it's used as a marketing tool almost. I would not mind so much if they were just promoting the work their stars are doing as a whole, but for the last decade it's as if only Cena does anything charitable. Punk said it, when he became champ he made a point of doing all the appearences and charity work Cena did and they still only showed Cena stuff.

{Ed007's Note - I've no problem with them doing charity and the publicity it brings to the sick kids and the money it makes the charities, there isn't one of us out there that hasn't had a lump in their throat watching any sick kids on TV and it's wonderful to see their faces when they meet their heroes but you're spot on, RBB, it seems it's only Cena that does it and that's when it stinks for me, they're using the kids for Cena's gain and that's not something I'm comfortable with.}

At least Conner the Crusher was a D-Bry guy.
