Am I the only one who thinks Taker v Shane is set up perfectly to involve Kane somehow?

I think interference is a given but I also think we're over thinking if we're talking the return of some old factions or something along those lines.

I'd like to see Kane get involved as both characters and I'd also like to see sting come down and help Taker or Vince setting up a feud between Kane and Sting before Taker and Sting end at next years mania together.

I think Kane is kind of out of the picture at that level, would be stunned if he was involved after the battle royal.

I suspect that now Strowman's push has quite rightly been put on hold that the last two standing at the Andre match will be Kane and Show putting a stop to the budding giant bromance.

Anyone know where I can watch the whole first season of Lucha Underground?

superkick

{Ed023's Note - Give this a go, I haven't tried it but it looks good. http://watchwrestling.cc/weekly-indys/lucha-underground/}

It's incredibly difficult to watch the whole 1st season now. If you have trouble start from Ultimate Lucha and just get into Season 2 before those links start disappearing mate. There's videos that sum up the 1st season in about 40 minutes. It wasn't great from the very start when it was still trying to figure out what it actually was and wanted to be. If you can get Aztec Warfare 1 that will introduce you to most of the wrestlers.

So this is the night, if WWE pull something out the bag with TLC I'll continue to watch, if not then I'm off to see what else the wrestling world holds.

Hi guys,

I have two questions for you.

I'm done with WWE, I haven't watch a fill PPV or Episode in over 4 years. Its awful.

With that being said I want to see edgier storylines, something cut from the same cloth as the attitude Era or the ruthless agression era.

So, should I start watching TNA?

Also, Is there a place I can consistently watch ICW?

No you should definitely not watch TNA. If you want to see some amazing wrestling I suggest watching ROH. There's also a hardcore element to ROH but it doesn't even need it you can find weekly eps on Daily Motion I download most of there PPVs I don't know the story lines I can just jump in watch and always enjoy ROH whenever that includes the Tv ratings. ICW has its on On Demand Service its £3.99 a month in my opinion worth it every penny. You will get a new show pretty much every week if there on tour like 4 in a fortnight and stuff like that . They do not put on House Shows every show they try to give it there best. Each one Hillarious Comedy. Guaranteed to see a Chairshot to the head or someone go through a table. Some of the best characters in Wrestling in my opinion. Some may stand out to me more because I am Scottish though. Also in my own opinion they have 3 of the best young wrestlers in the world. Noam Dar, Lewis Girvan and Jack Gallacher. Throw in Mikey Whiplash I know he's not young but any combination of those 4 you are guaranteed some of thee finest wrestling matches anywhere on the planet. Give it a go for a month you will be surprised with the standard of wrestling and how much this Company makes you fall in love with Wrestling all over again I promise you.

2.) 08 Dec 2015 20:07:01
NXT, ROH, NJPW, Lucha Underground, AAA, and Evolve. If you want crazy storylines, then watch LU. Season 2 will be starting soon and season 3 has been confirmed. The best wrestling out there is usually from ROH/NJPW cross promotion ppvs. They're should be at least 4 a year, from now on. AAA and Evolve are your classic mixed bag indys. You get a fair amount of garbage but there can be some very good wrestling too. I still think NXT is the best overall option though.

3.) 08 Dec 2015 20:30:52
Why do you need these people to tell you to watch something or not? Here is some out the box thinking, why not tune into an episode of tna and if YOU enjoy it keep watching if not switch over to something else . I watch any wrestling that is on tv because I love it, some of it is shite, some of it is good but I couldn't give a toss what the sheep think .

4.) 09 Dec 2015 03:46:46
Hi guys, thanks for the replies.

I watched a couple of bits on YouTube for TNA. Last time I saw it they had that awesome 5-sided ring. Shame that went it made it different.

May I ask what's wrong with their storylines? - I always remember it being quite out there and cool with groups like Team Canada, LAX, Beer Money Inc, the great stories between AJ and Jarett, etc.

5.) 09 Dec 2015 10:10:34
I was really hoping Global Force Wrestling was going to produce a tv show made up of the best of the rest.

Jarrett is the sort of guy who could go to ROH, AAA, TNA, NJPW, ICW, Evolve, Lucha Underground, and anyone else producing TV and say he wants to make a weekly product showcasing the best of what you have. It'll promote your shows and make your stars more recognisable, then a few times a year we can pull everyone in for a mega show to rival Vince's big shows.

Essentially recreating an NWA, but in the internet age tis essentially an IWA.

6.) 09 Dec 2015 17:09:44
I used to Love TNA when I wasn't anywhere near as in love with Wrestling as I am now even near the end I just felt my intelligence was being insulted and WWEs giving me the same feeling now. When I watched it James Storm was Feuding with Bobby Roode after the split of beer money. Bobby was a great heel but still a poor mans HHH. Then Bubba became one of the best heels I've ever seen. Aj Styles was like nothing I had ever saw before it was around the time when he left it stopped being watchable for me though. I hate it so much now 2 of my fave Wrestlers Drew and Grado couldn't even make me watch it. If I didn't know about The smaller company's like ROH, Lucha and ICW actually putting on great shows I would not be able to watch Wrestling anymore it would be dead to me as of last Monday. I'm not even watching this weeks Raw I refuse.

7.) 09 Dec 2015 20:26:23
Most people are getting sick of the WWE. ROH and the rest do offer an alternative, but the WWE are by far and away the biggest dog in the yard. And this in itself creates a problem. There is no real competition and no real insentive for the WWE to pull their collective heads out of the sand and to be properly creative.
The Monday Night Wars were really the last time there was a competitive rival and the quality of the WWE improved dramatically from what it was before because it had to.
Until we get competition, Vince will continue to feed us the turgid gruel we are consuming now.

What ever happened to Ted DeBiase Jr?

Also, anyone remember how good Legaxy actually were, I think if they had one more member they could have been something special (3 always seems a bit weak to me).

superkick

1.) 26 Nov 2015 03:51:40
It appears that the last time Ted jr. wrestled was in 2013. After that, he took an executive position at a dot-com company.

He turned 33 a couple of weeks ago, so maybe in about 5 years Vince will bring him back to win a secondary title off of Reigns so Roman can go shoot a second-rate reality show contest.

Speaking of Reigns. His cousin Manu was in Legacy early on, but was ousted from the group and then got released by WWE.

2.) 26 Nov 2015 13:16:42
I'm sure that boy Manu ended up in TNA as one of Drew Galloways cronies I remember my mate showing me him he was decent.

3.) 27 Nov 2015 09:53:03
He is probably still throwing Dibiase posse parties at colleges and wrestling conventions.

I forgot how much I loved the american badass 'taker! (I won't lie, I get a little bored of this current one) .

Even things like the 5v5 matches which weren't 10 superstars already feuding with each other.

Kurt Angle and HBK in their prime, WHEN THE HEELS ACTUALLY WON! (AKA SCSA losing his job in the 5v5).

Kane being all Kane like and not in his Pyjamas.

Evolution! - We need another stable like that, someone who pretty much holds all the cards and they're just arrogant as anything.

However, for me it was great just to see Goldberg one more time in a half decent match.

also, anyone else notice/remember how weird the Basham brothers actually were? how did they manage to get so over.

Bravo.

I'm by no means a huge Cena fan, I don't mind him, as far as I'm concerned he's just there.

Cena does botch moves, but lesnar has caused so many huge injuries through botches. His amateur wrestling background means he should be well versed in the art, apparently not.

I simply think there are a lot of double standards.

One thing that does make me laugh though is that Cena gets a lot of stick because he is the face of the PG era, everything that is supposedly 'wrong' with the WWE.

Everyone should just calm down and watch the product, there are things I do and don't like (I like lesnar btw) and there have been times where I didn't watch for a couple of years.

So if lesnar, Rollins, Cena, etc. are unbearable for you to watch without moaning then consider a different wrestling promotion?

Push the guys who work hard, drop those who don't. That's what I believe.

I'd happily see Cena in another title feud.

the man can't win with some of you, if he put KO over and then went on to fight for the WWE title you'd still be moaning.

Like it or not Cena is the bench mark of sports entertainment, wrestling, what you want to call it. you can't expect him to not be involved in a big feud.

Cena has improved 10 fold and I would love to see him compete against Rollins. I don't like his gimmick but I do find him better in the ring.

I actually find KO really boring form a storyline point of view, he's brilliant in the ring but that doesn't count for much anymore as we all know.

The guy has just come out of NXT and you want him to destroy the biggest superstar of the past 15 years within a couple of months?

Come on guys.

Some of you just said that Benoit and Eddie had to wait years for their shots, so why is Owens going from nobody to U.S champion in a matter of months?

even more so when you consider how much the championships reputation has been raised since Cena won it.

I think this has done a lot for Kevin Owens, he won 1 out of 3 matches, and came very close in the other 2.

That's how it is, get over it.

As for Taker, I just can't buy it. the WM feuds were fine, quite refreshing in fact knowing that Undertaker season is right around the corner but having him back in a weekly feud just reeks of trying to get the viewing count up.

He's not so much past it, he can still wrestle but I would say he is no longer credible.

It's funny how 15 years ago Kane and Undertaker were two of the most over, talented and must see guys in the WWE and now, they've been reduced to a little bit of a laughing stock.

As for the Shield guys, Rollins has been so mis-used it's unreal. A poor mans Edge.

Ambrose has something very special, he reminds me of a Sandman, Stone Cold, Randy Orton crossover. But what can you do with a man like that in the PG Era? not an awful lot.

Reigns is great, his finisher annoys me, it's just silly but I like everything else about him. and imo he's being built the right way.

I think a lot of WWE fans want guys pushed too quickly, let them build up their reputations over a couple of years.

One final thing, the Authority is getting so boring, It's about time a real stable was built, every 5-10 years or so we get a dominating faction. DX, NWO, Horsemen, the Ministry, etc.

The Shield tried and failed, Nexus tried and failed, God knows what New Day are (although I like them, I guess they're a modern day FBI) but the WWE need something long lasting.

All I see from the Authority is a rehash of the Cabinet stable with JBL.

Who would you guys put in a stable and what would you call them?

I'd have Orton as the brains behind it.
KO, Samoa Joe, Cesaro, Bo Dallas, Ryback & Ziggler as members

They haven't got to kill everyone in sight, they can still do their own thing but they've just got to show some form of a connection like the NWO did.

Split the WWE title have Orton go after the WWE title and perhaps Cesaro, KO or Joe go after the WHC, form a tag team with 2 other guys.

Then have the main 4 be; Orton, Cesaro, KO and Joe with the others being around, wearing their merchandise, etc.

I think we'll see a lot of undertaker-esque bits from Kane, Lights out, music playing, ring post pyros, etc. while Rollins is competing in matches (after he's lost to Lesnar) before he returns at either SummerSlam or Survivor Series as the monster Kane and goes 1v1 with Rollins.

whether it's plausible or not doesn't really matter to the WWE, as we all know they like to pretend things never happened.

Also notice that he's called Corporate Kane, not Kane. Perhaps an alter ego thing similar to Dude Live, Mick Foley, Cactus Jack & Mankind is the way the WWE will take this?
